RING THE BIGHTH DAY OF FESRUARY OF THIS WAR AS CONSTITUTION DAY.

WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 356 of President Manuel L. quezon, the eighth dey of Vebruary of cach year as proclained as Constitution Day for due and fitting observance throughout the country, particularly in oll blic schools and institutions o! learning;

WHEREAS, the passage of tims has underscored the invortance of our people setting aside at least one day of each year for the purpose of keeping in mind the great ideals enslirined in our Constitution and the hopes of the framers for a regime of justice, liberty and democracy;

WHEREAS, events of recent years have impressively demonstrated the importance and significance of the fealty and respect which every citizen must have for constitutional processes and the rule of law:

NOW, WGSREFORE, I, PERDINAND &. MARCOS, Presidewt of the Philipines, by virtue of the powers vested in ine by law, do hereby proclaim that the eighth day of February of this year be observed es Constitution Day.
