BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1000

DECLARING FRIDAY, 08 MAY 2015, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF PUERTO PRINCESA, PALAWAN

WHEREAS, the Commission on Elections en banc promulgated on 07 April 2015, Resolution No. 15-0284, setting the date for the Recall Elections for Mayor in the City of Puerto Princesa, Palawan, on 08 May 2015;

WHEREAS, there is a need to declare 08 May 2015 as a special non-working holiday to afford the registered voters of the City of Puerto Princesa, Palawan the opportunity to participate fully in the recall elections;

NOW, THEREFORE, !, PAQUITO N. OCHOA, JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Friday, 08 May 2015, as a special (non-working) holiday in the City of Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
