BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1015

DECLARING SATURDAY, 20 SEPTEMBER 2025, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DINGRAS, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE

WHEREAS, Josefa Llanes-Escoda, a World-War II heroine and the founder of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines was born on 20 September 1898 in Dingras, Ilocos Norte;

WHEREAS, on 20 September 2025, Saturday, the Municipality of Dingras, Province of Ilocos Norte, will commemorate the birth anniversary of Josefa Llanes- Escoda;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Dingras be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Saturday, 20 September 2025, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Dingras, Province of llocos Norte.
