PROCLAMATION NO. 1017

DECLARING SATURDAY, 27 SEPTEMBER: 2025, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MALVAR, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS

WHEREAS, on 27 September 2025, Saturday, the Municipality of Malvar, Province of Batangas, will mark the 160" birth anniversary of General Miguel Malvar, one of the most recognized leaders of the Philippine Revolution and the Philippine- American War who was born on 27 September 1865;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Malvar be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Saturday, 27 September 2025, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Malvar, Province of Batangas.
