BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1020 DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM MARCH 6 TO 10, 2006 AS PURCHASING AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT WEEK ; WHEREAS, the Philippine Institute for Supply Management (PSIM), is a non-stock, non-profit organization of purchasing and materials managers of the country's top corporations; WHEREAS, purchasing and materials managers and PSIM help upgrade the quality and competitiveness of Philippine goods and services for both the domestic and foreign markets; '. WHEREAS, It"" I~~ desirable that the important role played by the purchasing and materials managers in commerce and industry be brought to the attention of the people; , WHEREAS, the PSIM will celebrate its 14th National Convention and Exhibit this year called SUPPL YLINK 2006, with the theme "SUPPLY MANAGEM,ENT: MAKING A DIFFERENCE".
