PROCLAMATION NO. 1027

CALLING THE CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES TO A SPECIAL SESSION

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Section 15, Article VI of the Constitution, | RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, President of the Philippines, do hereby call the Congress of the Philippines to a special session on 13 October 2020 to 16 October 2020 in order to resume the congressional deliberations on the proposed 2021 national budget and to avoid any further delays on the prompt passage thereof in accordance with the Constitution and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, | have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
