BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1047

DECLARING MONDAY, 20 OCTOBER 2025, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BATAC, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE

WHEREAS, on 20 October 2025, Monday, the City of Batac, Province of Ilocos Norte, will mark the 159" birth anniversary of General Artemio Ricarte, a general during the Philippine Revolution and Philippine-American War who was born in Batac, llocos Norte on 20 October 1866;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Batac be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Monday,

20 October 2025, a special (non-working) day in the City of Batac, Province of Ilocos Norte.
