)1.X)1~~~ MALACANANG Ma'nila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO.1O60 DECLARING SATURDAY, JUNE 24, 2006, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MANILA WHEREAS, every year the City of Manila celebrates June 24 as ':4raw ng Maynlla"in commemoration of the founding of the City as the premier Christian City of Asia; WHEREAS, Saturday, June 24, 2006, marks the 43Sth Foundation Day anniversary of the City of Manila; WHEREAS, the residents of Manila, conscious of the historical and cultural significance of the event, desire to celebrate the same with appropriateceremonies. NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R.
