DECLARING SEPTEMBER 6 TO 15, AS ANTI-SMOKING WEEK.
WHEREAS, the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc., is launching on September 6, 1972, an anti-smoking drive to inform the public of the dangers of smoking;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare September 6 to 15, 1972, as Anti-Smoking Week.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 28th day of August, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-two.
