PROCLAMATION NO. 1071

DECLARING MONDAY, 10 NOVEMBER 2025, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF EASTERN SAMAR

WHEREAS, the Province of Eastern Samar will mark the celebration of its 60% Founding Anniversary on 09 November 2025, which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Province of Eastern Samar to fully participate in the occasion, the Office of the Governor requested that 10 November 2025, Monday, be declared as a special (non-working) day in lieu of 09 November 2025;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Eastern Samar be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Monday, 10 November 2025, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Eastern Samar.
