BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 108

DECLARING SATURDAY, 17 DECEMBER 2022, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALIWAG, PROVINCE OF BULACAN

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 11929 which was approved on 30 July 2022 provides for the conversion of the Municipality of Baliwag in the Province of Bulacan into a component city to be known as the City of Baliwag;

WHEREAS, Commission on Elections Resolution No. 10834, as amended by Resolution No. 10849, set the date of the plebiscite to ratify the conversion of the Municipality of Baliwag into a component city on 17 December 2022.

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of the Municipality of Baliwag the opportunity to actively and fully participate in the plebiscite and exercise their right to

vote, it is but fitting and proper to declare 17 December 2022 as a special (non- working) day;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Saturday, 17 December 2022, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Baliwag, Province of Bulacan.
