MALACANANG Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1080 DECLARING SATURDAY, JULY 1, 2006, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN SAN CARLOS CITY, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL WHEREAS, Saturday, July 1., 2006, marks the Charter Day Anniversary of San Carlos City; WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of San Carlos City be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonis. NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, ,by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Saturday, July 1, 2006, as special (non-working) day in San Carlos City.
