'. ..'., .Manila ",..: : -',; \ , BY THE' PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES, " PROCLAMATION NO. 1.081 CREATING AND DESIGNATING A BUILDING KNOWN AS GLOBAL TRADE CENTER WHICH STANDS ON TWO PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED AT 1024 EDSA, QUEZON CITY, AS AN ~NFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTER PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916, AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748 Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, as amended, and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, Resolution Nos. 00- 411 dated 29 December 2000 and 05-452 dated December 2005 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, the Global Trade Center as an Information Technology Center, which stands on two parcels of land of the private domain located at 1024 EDSA, Quezon City, containing an aggregate area of Two Thousand Five Hundred Seven and 50/100 (2,507.50) Square Meters, more or less, as defined by the following technical description: Lot 4, Block B-8 TCT No. N.144649 A parcel of land (Lot 4, Block £-8, of Diliman Estate Subdivision plan Bsd-20171, being a portion"of Lot R.P. 3-B-4-B-3, of plan Psd- 10532, GLRO Rec. No. 7681), situated in the District of Diliman, Quezon City.
