BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO.1087

DECLARING MONDAY, 24 AUGUST 2015, AS A SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF DAVAO

WHEREAS, the City of Davao celebrates the “Kadayawan” Festival every third week of August;

WHEREAS, on Monday, 24 August 2015, the City of Davao marks its ‘Araw ng Pasasalamat” as part of the weeklong celebration of the “Kadayawan” Festival:

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Davao be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, |!, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO Ill, do hereby declare Monday, 24 August 2015, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Davao.
