FORTY-FIVE, A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLDDaY _

WHEREAS, August 1, 1545 will be the first anniversary of the death of Hanvel L, “uezon, first President of the Commonvealth of the Philippines;

WHEREAS, it would be fitting thst Filipinos everywhere, in the homeland and abroad, be given an opportunity to go to their churches to pray for our departed beloved leader and hold memorial services to henor his memory and extol his character and public service3:

‘ NCY, THEREFORE, in pursuance of fhe provisions of Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, I, SBRGI0 OSMEIA, President of the Philippines, do hereby proclain Wednesday, August 1, 1945.4 svecial public holiday.
