WHEREAS, the Vocational Rohabilitation Office created Under Republic Act Wo. 1179 has among its objectives the vocational training and rehabilitation and pincement of the blind and other handicapped persons; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable that public attention be drawn to the program aud stress laid on the importance of making blind and handicapped persons wore useful mewhers of society;

: NOW, THERETORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in mo by law, do hereby declare the period fron February 13 to 19, 1966, as Blind and Handicapped Weck under the auspices 6f the Social Welfare Adwinistration. I call woon all our countrymen to turn their thoughts during the weck te the great service the Vocational Rehabilitation Office is Joing for our blind and handicapped citizens and te extend their full cooverstion and support to the progran.
