BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1117

DECLARING TUESDAY, 1 SEPTEMBER 2015, AS A SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF GENERAL SANTOS

WHEREAS, Saturday, 5 September 2015, marks the 47" Charter Day and 17" Tuna Festival of the City of General Santos;

WHEREAS, the City of General Santos will hold weeklong festivities on September 1-6, 2015 in celebration of this occasion;

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of the City of General Santos the opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlungsod has requested that 1 September 2015, instead of 5 September 2015 which falls on a Saturday, be declared as a special non-working day;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA, JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO Ill, do hereby declare Tuesday, 1 September 2015, as a special (non-working) day in the City of General Santos.
