Lifl\r; , -MAI~,\CANANG Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1118 DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 30, 2006, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MANDAUE WHEREAS, Wednesday, August 30, 2006, marks the 37th Charter Day anniversary of the City of Mandaue; WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Mandaue be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriateceremonies. NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellen~y, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 30, 2006, as special (non-working) day in the City of Mandaue.
