MALACA.NANG Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO.1147 DECLARING WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2006, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE t-1UNICIPALITY OF MALVAR, PROVINCE OFBATANGAS WHEREAS, Wednesday, September 27, 2006, marks the birth anniversary of General Miguel Malvar, the last general of the Philippine Revolution to surrender to the Americans; WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Malvar, Province of Batangas be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies. NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, September 27, 2006, as special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Malvar, Province of Batangas.
