BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1147

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 19 MAY 2021, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BUTUAN

WHEREAS, on 19 May 2021, Wednesday, the City of Butuan will mark the celebration of the Balangay (Balanghai) Festival; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the peoplé of the City of Butuan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Wednesday, 19 May 2021, a special (non-working) day in the City of Butuan.
