BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1177

DECLARING THURSDAY, 19 MARCH 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF KAWAYAN, PROVINCE OF BILIRAN

WHEREAS, on 19 March 2026, Thursday, the Municipality of Kawayan, Province of Biliran will mark the celebration of its Charter Anniversary;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Kawayan be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Thursday, 19 March 2026, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Kawayan, Province of Biliran.
