, PROCLAMATION NO. 1188

DECLARING THURSDAY, 22 JULY 2021, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF GENERAL SANTOS

WHEREAS, on 22 July 2021, Thursday, the City of General Santos will mark the celebration of its Indigenous Peoples 6" Blaan Day; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of General Santos be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Thursday, 22 July 2021, a special (non-working) day in the City of General Santos.
