BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1199 DECLARING THE FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBER AS BUSINESS EDUCATION WEEK

WHEREAS, the Philippine Council of Beans and Educators in Business (PCDEB), Is an organization of deans, chairs, coordinators and heads of the different business schools in the Philippines,

WHEREAS, [he primary objectives of the PCLEB is to upurade business education fo respond te changes brought abaul by the dynamic environment of business: to continiuousty improve the quality of instruction in business edticalion; bo make business education play an important role in the building and imprevement of the country's economy; ta develop professionalism amona business educalars; and ta organize and encourage scientific research in the area of global business;

WHEREAS, the PCDER during these past years pioneered in recognizing outstanding husiness educators working clasely with companies manifesting a high level OF socal eesponsibility, and corporate citizenship:

WHEREAS, the PCDEB had been involved in (he eduration of our youth ta the area of responsible citizenshijy and good governance.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic. of the Philippines; by virtue ef the powers vested in are by law, do hereby declare lhe first week of December as Business Education Week.
