BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1197

DECLARING MONDAY, 06 APRIL 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAGSAYSAY, PROVINCE OF OCCIDENTAL

MINDORO

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Magsaysay, Province of Occidental Mindoro will mark the celebration of its Founding Anniversary on 03 April 2026, which falls on Good

Friday;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Municipality of Magsaysay to fully participate in the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that 06 April 2026, Monday, be declared as a special (non-working) day in lieu of 03 April 2026;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Magsaysay be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Monday, 06 April 2026, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Magsaysay, Province of Occidental Mindoro.
