BY Ti PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 12 ING THE CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES IN SPECIAL SESSION

-. WHEREAS, by Proclamation No. 10, issued on May 31, 1945, the Congress of the Philippines was called in -gpécial session for a peried of thirty days commencing en June 9, 1945, for the purpose of considering gen~ eral legislation;

WHEREAS, in order to enable the Congress of the Philippines te consider pending matters which could

ot be acted upon by it in the aforementiened special ‘session for lack of time, as well as other important and urgent matters, it is necessary to call another special session;

NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the provisions of ‘Article VI, section 9, of the Constitution of the Phi- lippines, I, SERGIO OSHENA, President of the Philippines, do hereby call the Congress of the Philippines in spe- eial session for a period of thirty days commencing on Tuesday, August 14, 1945, at four o'clock in the after- noon, for the purpose of considering general legisila-
