BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1212

DECLARING MONDAY, 13 SEPTEMBER 2021, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) ‘DAY IN THE CORDILLERA ADMINISTRATIVE REGION

WHEREAS, on 13 September 2021, Monday, the Cordillera Administrative Region will mark the commemoration of the 1986 Sipat Peace Talks; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Cordillera Administrative Region be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 13 September 2021, a special (non-working) day in the Cordillera Administrative Region.
