BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO.1228

DECLARING THURSDAY, 31 MARCH 2016, AS A SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF SIPALAY

WHEREAS, on Thursday, 31 March 2016, the City of Sipalay marks the celebration of its 15" year as a component city of Negros Occidental;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Sipalay be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA, JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO Ill, do hereby declare Thursday, 31 March 2016, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Sipalay.
