PROCLAMATION NO. 1230

DECLARING SATURDAY, 23 OCTOBER 2021, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NARVACAN, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR

WHEREAS, on 23 October 2021, Saturday, the Municipality of Narvacan, Province of Ilocos Sur, will mark the celebration of the Aldaw Ti Wayawaya — Ili A Narvacan (Day of Freedom—Town of Narvacan); and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Narvacan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Saturday, 23 October 2021, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Narvacan, Province of Ilocos Sur.
