BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO.1238

DECLARING SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2007, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 8973 dated November 7, 2000, which provides for the creation of the Province of Zamboanga Sibugay from the Province of Zamboanga del Sur was ratified on Fedruary 24, 2001:

WHEREAS, Saturday, February 24, 2007, marks the Charter Bay anniversary of the Province of Zamboanga Sipugay;

WHEREAS, it is bur fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Zamboanga Sibuaay be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with Appropriate ceremonies,

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R, ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellericy, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby ceclare Saturday, February 24, 2007, as Special (non-working) day in the Province of Zamboange Sibugay.
