PROCLAMATION NO. 1241

DECLARING SATURDAY, 23 MAY 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CALACA, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS

WHEREAS, on 23 May 2026, Saturday, the City of Calaca, Province of Batangas will mark the celebration of the birth anniversary of General Eleuterio Marasigan, a great Calaquefo, patriot, and one of the leaders during the libertarian movement in the Province of Batangas:

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Calaca be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, |, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Saturday, 23 May 2026, a special (non-working) day in the City of Calaca, Province of Batangas.
