PROCLAMATION NO, 1247

‘DECLARING WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2007, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF ESCALANTE, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL

WHEREAS, Wednesday, February 28, 2007, marks the Charter Day Anniversary of the City of Escalante;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the. people of the City of Escalante be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, February 28, 2007, as special (non- working) day in the City of Escalante.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
