BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1278

DECLARING FRIDAY, 19 JUNE 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LAOAG, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE

WHEREAS, on 19 June 2026, Friday, the City of Laoag, Province of Ilocos Norte will mark the celebration of its Charter Anniversary;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Laoag be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, !, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 19 June 2026, a special (non-working) day in the City of Laoag.
