BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO,.228°

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 1 JUNE 2016, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF OLONGAPO

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 4645 otherwise known as “An Act Creating the City of Olongapo” was approved on 1 June 1966;

WHEREAS, Wednesday, 1 June 2016, marks the 50” Cityhood Anniversary of the City of Olongapo;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Olongapo be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA, JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare

Wednesday, 1 June 2016, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Olongapo.
