PROCLAMATION NO. 1289

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, MAY 23, 2007, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CALACA, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS

WHEREAS, Wednesday, May 23, 2007, marks the birth anniversary of General Eleuteria Marasigan, a great Calaguerio and a patriot of libertarian struggle in the Province of Batangas;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Calaca, Province of Batangas be given full opportunity to celebrate the eccasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R, ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, May 23, 2007, as special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Calaca, Province of Batangas. ,
