BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1289

DECLARING MONDAY, 15 JUNE 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BONTOC, PROVINCE OF SOUTHERN LEYTE

WHEREAS, on 15 June 2026, Monday, the Municipality of Bontoc, Province of Southern Leyte will mark the celebration of its Founding Anniversary;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of

Bontoc be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Monday,

15 June 2026, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Bontoc, Province of Southern Leyte.
