DECLARING THE PERJ:OD FROM FEBRUARY 1 TO 7, 1993 AS OFFICE MACHINE I"DUSTRY WEEK WHEREAS, the Philippine Office Machine Distributors Association (POMDA) is an industry-oriented organization composed of distributors of well-known office machines which seeks relevance with the needs and requirements of the business and government sectors; WHEREAS, POMDA serves as an information center by keeping the public informed of the developments in the office machine industry and has been instrumental in promoting modern business methods relevant to national development; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to focus national attention on the important role of modern office equipment as tools of economic progress and technological development. NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from February 1 to 7, 1993, as Office Machine Industry Week under the auspices of the Philippine Office Machine DistributorsAssociation, Inc.
