PROCLAMATION NO. 1290

DECLARING MONDAY, 22 JUNE 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MALAPATAN, PROVINCE OF SARANGANI

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Malapatan, Province of Sarangani will mark the celebration of its 57° Founding Anniversary on 21 June 2026, which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Municipality of Malapatan to fully participate in the occasion, the Sangguniang Bayan requested that 22 June 2026, Monday, be declared as a special (non-working) day in lieu of 21 June 2026;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Malapatan be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Monday, 22 June 2026, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Malapatan, Province of Sarangani.
