BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO, 1292

DECLARING TUESDAY, JUNE 19, 2007, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF LAGUNA AND THE CITY OF CALAMBA

WHEREAS, Tuesday, June 19, 2007 marks the 146" birth anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, our national hero;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Laguna, including the City of Calamba, should be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies in keeping with his ideals and teachings.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYOQ, do hereby declare Tuesday, June 19, 2007, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Laguna and the City of Calamba.,
