BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1294

DECLARING TUESDAY, JUNE 12, 2007, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF SILAY

WHEREAS, Tuesday, June 12, 2007, marks the 50!" Charter Day anniversary of the City of Silay;

WHEREAS, it js but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Silay be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by

authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby

declare Tuesday, June 12, 2007, as special (non-working) day in the City of Silay. "
