BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO, 1299

DECLARING MONDAY, 20 JUNE 2016, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LAOAG, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE

WHEREAS, the City of Laoag, Ilocos Norte marks its Charter Day on 19 June 2016;

WHEREAS, the Office of the Mayor requested that Monday, 20 June 2016 instead of 19 June 2016 which falls on a Sunday, be declared as a special non- working day in the City of Laoag, Ilocos Norte:

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Laoag,

llocos Norte be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA, JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S$. AQUINO Ill, do hereby declare Monday, 20 June 2016, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Laoag.
