CREATING AND DESIGNATING THE ST. FRANCES CABRINI MEDICAL CENTER, LOCATED ALONG MAHARLIKA HIGHWAY, BARANGAY POBLACION, STO. TOMAS, BATANGAS, AS MEDICAL TOURISM CENTER PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916 AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested In me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise knowr) as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995 as amended by Republic Act No, 8748, and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate as Medical Tourism Center, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and Resolution Nos. 06-512 and. 07-093 dated 14 November 2006 and 21 February 2007, respectively’, af the Board af Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), the St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center which stands on several parcels of private land located along Maharlika Highway, Baranaay Poblacion, Sto, Tomas, Batangas, with an aggregate area of Twelve Thousand Two Hundred Forty (12,240) Square Meters, more or less, as defined by the following tecnnical descriptions;
