BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1331

DECLARING TUESDAY, 22 MARCH 2022, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALIWAG, PROVINCE OF BULACAN

WHEREAS, on 22 March 2022, Tuesday, the Municipality of Baliwag, Province of Bulacan, will mark the celebration of the 159 birth anniversary of Mariano Ponce;

WHEREAS, Mariano Ponce, a native of Baliwag, Bulacan, was a prominent member of the propaganda movement and one of the leading figures in the Philippine reform movement during the Spanish colonization; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Baliwag be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to the public health measures of the national government;

NOW, THEREFORE, |, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Tuesday, 22 March 2022, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Baliwag, Province of Bulacan.
