"" MALACANANG Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATIONNO. 1372 DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER 1 TO 9, 2007, AS "PRODUCTION AND OPERATIONSMANAGEMENT WEEK" WHEREAS,the Production and Operations Management Association of the Philippines (PROMAP),a non-partisan and non-stock organization} was established to promote industrial development through better and more efficient management of the production systems; WHEREAS,PROMAPwillbe holdingthe 20thNationalConventionto be held at the New World Renaissance Hotel, pasay Road, MakatiCity on September 6 and 7, 2007; WHEREAS,there is a need to focus national attention on the important role production and operations practitioners play in the developmentof the economyaswell as in the manufacturing sector.
