MALACANANG , Manila BYTHE 'PRESID,ENTOFTHE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1376 DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2007, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MALVAR, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS WHEREAS, Thursday, September 27, 2007, marks the birth anniversary of General Miguel Malvar, the last general of the Philippine Revolution to surrender to the Americans; WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Malvar, Province of Batangas be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies. NOW, THEREFORE,I, EDUARDOR.ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority or Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, September 27, 2006, as special (non-working)day in the Municipalityof Malvar, Province of Batangas.
