Proclamation No. 138

RESERVING FOR MARKET PURPOSES A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE BARRIO OF PEÑAPLATA, MUNICIPALITY OF SAMAL, PROVINCE OF DAVAO, ISLAND OF SAMAL.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for market purposes, under the administration of the Director of Health, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcel of the public domain, situated in the barrio of Peñaplata, municipality of Samal, Province of Davao, Island of Samal, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Mr-365, to wit:

Beginning at a point marked "1" on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-365, S. 57˚ 00’ W. 18.06 m. from B. L. B. M. No. 3, barrio of Peñaplata, municipal district of Samal, thence S. 45˚ 31’ W. 34.06 m. to point 2; N. 49˚ 38’ W. 29.66 m. to point 3; N. 42˚ 26’ E. 34.51 m. to point 4; S. 48˚ 37’ E. 31.49 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 1,046 square meters.

Points 1, 2, and 4, P. L. S. /B. L. concrete monuments; point 3, old P. L. S. concrete monument.

Bounded on the northeast, by property of Florentino Lapitan; on the southeast, by Moriones Street; on the southwest, by property of Melecio Camacho; and on the northwest, by property of Flaviano Laxina (lot No. 1, F-100112).

Bearings true. Declination, 1˚ 50’ E.

Points referred to are marked on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-365.
