PROCLAMATION NO. 138

DECLARING TUESDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2001, AS A SPECIAL NON- WORKING DAY IN THE CITY OF TUGUEGARAO

WHEREAS, the City of Tuguegarao was created on December 18, 1999, by virtue of Republic Act No. 8755;

WHEREAS, Tuesday, December 18, 2001, marks the 2™ Charter Day Anniver- sary of the City of Tuguegarao;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tuguegarao be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Tuesday, December 18, 2001, as a special non-working day in the City of Tuguegarao.
