MALACANANG f\lanila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1391 DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2007, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN TJiE PROVINCE OF IlOCOS NORTE WHEREAS, Thursday, September 20, 2007, marks the Josefa Llanes Escoda Day in the Province of 1I0c05Norte; WHEREAS, Josefa Llanes Escoda is regarded and recognized as a national heroine due to her heroic deeds during World War II; WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of 1Iocos Norte be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
