LY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PRELTPPINES PROCLAMATION NO.
DECLARING FRIDAY, AUGUST 21, 1987, As A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE sUs—PROVINCE OF GUIMARAS.
WHEREAS, the 218t anniversary foundation of the sub- Province of Guimaras falls on August 21, 1987; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting that the people of the Sub- Province of Guimaras be given ample opportunity to cele- brate the event with appropriate ceremonies;
NOV, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, August 21, 1987, as a special public holiday in the sub-Province of Guimaras.
