BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1449

DECLARING FRIDAY, JANUARY 25, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAITUM, PROVINCE OF SARANGANI

WHEREAS, Friday, January 25, 2008, marks the 1™ Annual Bangsi Festival of the Municipality of Maitum, Province of Sarangani;

WHEREAS, it js but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Maitum, Province of Sarangani, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, january 25, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Maitum, Province of Sarangani

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
