Proclamation No. 145

RESERVING FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES TWO PARCELS OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE BARRIOS OF SAN MIGUEL AND MAROYOGROYOG, MUNICIPALITY OF CORON, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, ISLAND OF LINAPACAN.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for school purposes, under the administration of the Director of Education, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcels of the public domain, situated in the barrios of San Miguel and Maroyogroyog, municipality of Coron, Province of Palawan, Island of Linapacan, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Mr-376, to wit:

Lot No. 1 (barrio of San Miguel). – Beginning at a point marked "1" on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-376, S. 72˚ 50’ W. 146.43 m. from B. L. B. M. No. 5, barrio of San Miguel, municipality of Coron, thence S. 66˚ 17’ W. 26.57 m. to point 2; S. 49˚ 46’ W. 76.63 m. to point 3; N. 42˚ 06’ W. 101.60 m. to point 4; N. 50˚ 24’ E. 101.20 m. to point 5; S. 42˚ 29’ E. 108.06 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 1.0342 hectares.

All corners are B. L. concrete monuments, 15 by 60 cm.

Bounded on the northeast, by property of Bonifacio Liao; on the southeast, by Linapacan Strait; on the southwest, by public land (mangroves); and on the northwest, by public land.

Bearings true. Declination, 1˚ 19’ E.

Points referred to are marked on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-376, sheet No. 1.

Surveyed: July 26 and August 8, 1933.

Approved: December 18, 1936.

Lot No. 2 (barrio of Maroyogroyog). – Beginning at a point marked "1" on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-376, S. 80˚ 25’ E. 1,566.14 m. more or less, from C. & G. S. Cogon, Linapacan Island, thence S. 73˚ 08’ E. 111.89 m. to point 2; S. 20˚ 44’ W. 76.84 m. to point 3; N. 71˚ W. 103.72 m. to point 4; N. 14˚ 29’ E. 73.44 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 0.8087 hectare.

All corners are B. L. concrete monuments, 15 by 60. cm.

Bounded on the northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest by barrio street.

Bearings true. Declination, 1˚ 19’ E.

Points referred to are marked on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-376, sheet No. 2.
